Our client in Thatcham is looking for skilled welder fabricator. They specialise in supplying into a variety of industries including structural, power plants and construction. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MIG and TIG Welding with some fabrication and with the chance of some site work if desired. Our client is a well established company and looking to expand their team.
Welder Fabricator Summary:
GI Pro have a permanent role for a Welder Fabricator for our Thatcham based client
Working on a day shift Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1700 Friday 0700 - 1500
Paying up to £15.00 per hour
Overtime paid at a premium
This is a permanent role
Welder Fabricator Role:
- Involved in the production of a diverse range of architectural, construction and commercial metal products.
- MIG & TIG Welding
- Fabrication from scratch and pre cut parts
- 75% welding 25% fabrication
- Working with stainless steel and aluminium
- Gauges of metals vary dependant on the product which changes day to day
- Site work available for anyone with site tickets - but this is not essential
Essential Skills
- Ideally will have MIG & TIG but will consider candidate with either and train up on other discipline
- Skilled fabricator
- Worked with a variety of metals and gauges
- Able to read and work form engineering drawings
- Use of hand and power tools including grinders, drills and rollers
Desirable Skills
- Site tickets desired but not essential
Package
- 27 days holiday including bank holidays
- Up to 35,000 per annum
