Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

With presence throughout the UK, they successfully manufacture high quality products to variety of high-profile customers. They take pride in ensuring their products offer high-quality to exceed industry standards.
Our client is now recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their journey in achieving sustainable growth through product innovation. The successful candidate will be qualified, with experience within the food industry. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to quickly progress to a Technical Lead position.
Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager:
- Overseeing the quality assurance department
- Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures
- Conducting quality audits and inspections
- Identifying and resolving quality issues
- Ensuring that products meet all relevant standards
- Maintaining accurate records of quality testing
- Liaising with suppliers and customers on quality matters
- Monitor the temperature of the environment and products
- Monitor and report monthly KPI's, including customer returns
- Support with staff training about quality compliance
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have experience in quality assurance within the food industry
- Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, principles and procedures
- The desire to learn and progress in a role within food quality
- Perfect communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills, ability to analyse and present data accurately, with attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
