Your new company:

A rapidly expanding business based in Preston with a national footprint and offices in Leeds and Manchester, specialising exclusively in Transaction Services and Corporate Advisory for Corporates, PE Houses, and Financial Institutions. Established just three years ago, they have swiftly grown to a team of 40 members, with plans to expand to 50 within the next year.

I'm currently collaborating with their Transaction Services team, seeking commercially astute Part Qualified and Qualified Accountants from Audit or Advisory backgrounds who are eager to transition into roles involving responsibilities such as:

  • Support on a deal process, including attending and note taking at client meetings
  • Assist in client set up procedures
  • Review of client information and cross checking against information request lists (ensuring to communicate with manager/AD on missing information)
  • Data analysis and preparation of excel workbooks to feed into our report
  • Draft report writing (will start by doing certain sections and progress to writing full reports for review)
  • Cold reading reports to check for consistencies errors prior to these being sent to a client

This opportunity will be great for you if you have:

  • 3+ years experience in an Audit or Advisory role and are currently studying towards ACA/ACCA
  • Strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of the business context and how technical solutions align with organisational goals.
  • Skills in planning, organising, and managing projects to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, including cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
