Reed Accountancy & Finance is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant on behalf of our client in Mereworth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and bring their expertise to a dynamic and supportive team to support our client on a 6 month contract.
**Management Accountant
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysis of financial performance and contribution to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Budgeting and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
- Overseeing accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Managing and mentoring junior staff within the accounts department.
**Management Accountant
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance personnel.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
