Paralegal LPC

Are you a talented paralegal with LPC accreditation seeking an exciting opportunity in the picturesque market town of Buckingham (MK18)? If so, we want you to join our small, dynamic team and contribute to a range of legal matters.

The LPC qualification is mandatory for this role. Only candidates possessing this qualification will be considered. Additionally, applicants must reside in the UK.

The Role

Assisting the Principle and fee earners in all matters ranging from:

  • Conveyancing Matters - opening and closing files, setting searches in hand, liaising with clients and sending our opening letters and bundles, dealing with enquiries raised on title as well as any other work in connection to file.
  • Private Client Matters - helping the Principle open and close probate matters, liaising with companies, updating file and overseeing the matter in terms of progress and reporting frequently to Principle as will as various carrying our general administrative duties such as photocopying, preparing documents for court etc. You will also be assisting in the preparation of Wills, printing, binding final signed copies, liaising with clients to provide them with final copies as well as any other duties that arise.
  • Admin Matters - In addition to working on files autonomously and as part of a team, you will assist the team in general admin duties such as opening and closing office, first point of contact for clients, answering telephone calls and assisting with quotes, enquires as such, dealing with the post at the end of each day and confidently overseeing the general running of the office in terms of stationery needs, printer maintenance etc.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have completed the LPC course and have extensive experience in Conveyance and Private Client matters, capable and confident in running matters independently. You will be used to working autonomously and reporting in detail to the Principle.

You will be good at using initiative to provide the best service possible to clients. Have an approachable friendly manner and be assertive and confident in handling matters on your own.

Key Qualifications: - You will have

  • Completed Undergraduate and LPC in law
  • Have at least 2 years of experience working as a paralegal within the UK
  • Be proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Exceptional track record of excellent customer/client care

Salary: We offer a competitive salary package, circa £22,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience).
