The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs.
  • Employing a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and support students effectively.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies, to provide holistic support for students.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
  • Proven experience working with students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
