My client is a prominent and award-winning architectural firm based in the Southwest of England. They specialise in both residential and commercial projects, offering bespoke design solutions that emphasise sustainability and creativity. They are looking for an Assistant Town Planner to join their planning department near Bristol!
The Role:
As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be in a supportive environment that focuses on professional and career development. You will offer advice and discuss planning implications of proposals, and work with clients to achieve approval. You will provide pre-application advice, as well as dealing with all matters related to the application, including completing forms and design and access statements where necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or equivalent qualification.
- Intentions of, or already in the process of, achieving full MRTPI Chartership.
- Previous experience in a Town Planning role ideal, either public or private sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain self-motivated and work independently.
