Job Description
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Financial Accounting Manager.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
- Expenses and Reimbursements.
- Banking and Treasury
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Finance team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Provide support in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
Requirements
- AAT Qualifications or comparable qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
