Job Title: Maintenance/Facilities Officer

Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on school facilities and equipment
- Ensure the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Perform regular inspections to identify and address potential issues
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and services
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for school events
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and school policies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in facilities management or a related field
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in an educational setting
