Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee all aspects of club management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Drive membership growth through innovative marketing strategies and community engagement.
- Maintain a high standard of service and address member feedback promptly.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
- Uphold health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to align club operations with company goals.
- Analyse performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve targets and objectives.
- Ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business success and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a General Manager role or senior leadership within the fitness, hospitality or service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Passion for health and wellness and a commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and KPIs.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety processes/policies.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and Bank holidays.
