Our client who is a renowned wholesaler of newspapers and magazines and is looking for a Head of Final Mile-Delivery Contractors to their team in their Swindon HQ.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead their contractor management strategies. As their Head of Final Mile-Delivery Contractors, you'll drive the evolution of their self-employed delivery contractor model, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies and procedures to optimise their contractor management processes.
  • Advise and direct their operations teams managing a network of self-employed delivery contractors and delivery rounds across multiple locations.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and third-party entities.
  • Provide expert guidance on legislative compliance and contract development.
  • Proactively address risks and issues to maintain operational momentum.
  • Present compelling insights and proposals to senior management, shaping the future of their contractor model.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within our contractor management team.
