**Financial Accounting Manager

Join a leading global consultancy with a rich heritage in design and engineering expertise. We are looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to oversee our UK Financial Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about managing a team, driving financial processes, and supporting our global finance community.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage a team of three accountants in the UK and support a team of nine outside the UK.
- Oversee the preparation of the UK management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure month-end reporting is completed accurately, including enrichment and continuity schedules.
- Review UK balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage lease accounting entries, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee monthly internal trading commitments and intercompany loans.
- Prepare annual corporation tax packs for statutory companies.
- Provide analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury, and Business Finance departments.
- Liaise with auditors and conduct staff performance and development reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised professional accountancy qualification - this is essential, must be fully qualified.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and formulas.
- Experience with an accounting software package, ideally Oracle.
- Sound analytical skills and customer awareness.
- Capable of handling large volumes of data and working to deadlines.
