We are seeking a friendly and responsible individual to join our local schools in Croydon and Sutton as a Lunchtime Midday Supervisor. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during the lunchtime period. The ideal candidate will have a calm and authoritative presence and be able to manage pupils effectively during their free time.
Day to Day of the role:
- Supervise students during the lunchtime period, both inside the lunch hall and outside on the playground.
- Serve and assist with food as needed, ensuring a smooth lunchtime experience for all students.
- Promote safety, good behaviour, and appropriate social interactions among students.
- Assist with the setup and clean-up of the lunchroom, maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Report any concerns or behavioural issues to the school administration promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- A positive and professional demeanour, with the ability to maintain composure in a dynamic environment.
- Good knowledge of health and safety in the school environment is beneficial.
