Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with an existing client on their search for an HR Manager (UK & Ireland) to join their team permanently.
This will be joining a well-established contemporary retail brand with a global footprint specifically looking after all UK and Ireland employees (circa 100 - 150 across both stores and head office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of HR (based in Germany) working in a sole nature HR Manager role in the UK (potential for future growth of the team/management responsibilities)
- Managing the full employee life cycle for both retail and head office staff - including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Payroll and personnel administration: Managing the UK and Ireland payroll data for the outside payroll provider
- Manage UK benefits and work with global HQ to design employee benefit
- Employee Relations - Disciplinary support for managers: anticipating and defusing situations and conflicts, following disciplinary procedures
- Recruitment anticipating the needs of stores and deploying the recruitment policy
- Training: definition and implementation of the Retail training plans in agreement with the retail management team (themes and budgets)
- Talent assessment and management: regular and professional interviews, understand the aspirations and reconcile them with the needs of the company, anticipate, advise, organize and supervise employability and mobility
- Promote and integrate equality and diversity initiatives, fostering an inclusive organizational culture.
- Project work: Work with the European HQ HR team on projects such as the implementation of Workday and aligning HR processes globally
Key Requirements:
- 5 + years HR experience in a similar role
- A proven track record of HR experience within the retail or hospitality industry
- Able to demonstrate aptitude working in a fast-paced, sole nature HR role
- Strong organisational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Experience with Workday will be beneficial, not essential
This role will be based in Farringdon London (ideally 4 days a week in the office but additional flexibility may be offered)
