The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strategic decision making, ensuring financial sustainability and driving business growth.

Description

  • Management and development of the finance business partner allocated to the business unit.
  • Developing effective working relationships throughout the Business Unit, at all levels and across all areas, to support business objectives
  • Supporting business leads in the preparation of content for quarterly forecasts and annual business plans
  • Providing reports, presentations and insightful ad-hoc analysis (e.g. trend analysis) to the business, including monthly board packs with periodic attendance and input
  • Site visits at live projects to build relationships, improve understanding of works and identify any potential issues
  • Management of overhead costs including playing a key role in ensuring the integrity of overhead budgets and forecasts and identifying areas of savings / efficiencies
  • External audit contact for commercial finance matters and Client cost audit support
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the finance sector.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.

Job Offer
