Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting a respected name in the construction industry on an exciting Accounts Assistant role starting off on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role would see you supporting the wider business with accounts receivable duties and contacting debtors regarding outstanding balances.

To be successful in this role, you will have the tenacity and drive when speaking with customers and suppliers. This opportunity would see you grow with the role and work alongside their long-standing Finance Manager.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for the organisations sales ledger
  • Processing sales invoicing via Sage
  • Proactively contacting debtors regarding outstanding balances
  • Sending remittances
  • Processing direct debit payments
  • Reviewing and processing receipts daily
  • Updating records and filing data
  • Assisting Assistant Accountant with ad hoc duties

Candidate Attributes
