Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our London Commercial Team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering our current commitments and shaping our future strategy, leaving a lasting impact on the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Establish and manage commercial processes and procedures to protect revenue.
- Drive the delivery of contractual obligations and governance throughout the project lifecycle, managing commercial risk to the business.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of potential decisions.
- Provide guidance on conflict avoidance, management, and resolution, including compiling evidence in the debt resolution process.
- Manage projects at all stages, from advising on pre-contract negotiations to change management and final account agreement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience working on complex projects with values up to £10 million.
- Experience working on contractual claims and change management
- Worked on loss & expenses, EoT, VOs etc.
- Experience within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
- Quick thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Resilience and proactivity in meeting company commitments.
