We Do Group are excited to be supporting a well-known education group with a critical interim hire that will lead collections and minimise the overdue debt. We are looking for an immediately available, experienced credit specialist who can deliver top level customer service while collecting the required cash. Having strong knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) processes will be required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years in Credit Control
  • Experience in B2B environments
  • Understanding of top to bottom AR process
  • Experience supporting systems and process changes
  • Immediately Available

The Role:

  • Chase organisations for payment, with the aims of maximising the amount of cash collected, minimising the days sales outstanding (DSO) and overdue debt.
  • Process receipts from organisations, including allocating the receipts onto the customers' accounts.
  • Effectively manage external and internal customer queries, so that issues are resolved as soon as possible.
  • Assist in producing and distributing accurate sales invoices and customer statements, to organisations, in a timely manner.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to customers.
  • To identify and push forward efficiencies within the role.
  • To compile and distribute reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • To assist in processing any help desk requests received, such as the creation of new ad-hoc invoices.
  • To assist in closing the Accounts Receivable month end and the aged debtor report is run and reviewed.
  • To assist with other Accounts Receivable work as required.

Salary & Benefits:

This role will initially be paying between £25-30 per hour (via Umbrella) and has the opportunity to develop into a permanent role at a similar salary level. You will be required in the Canary Wharf office once per week and the remaining four days will be remote.
