Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: £41,000 - £44,000 per annum
Metalis is working with a company based in Sheffield who manufacture wire materials for a range of different industries including agricultural and entertainment.
Job Role:
- A working member of the maintenance team, maintaining all factory machinery, land & buildings, quality, and health & safety performance in line with company policies.
- Ensure all maintenance consumables and required parts/equipment are readily available as and when required.
- Communicating with the maintenance team, management and other supervisory staff on a day-to-day basis.
- To be the focal point of the maintenance team and promote co-operation and team building between all sections and operators.
- To ensure that all plant, machinery, land, and building are maintained to the highest standards.
- To be responsible for paperwork produced by the team.
- To monitor reports on a daily and weekly basis carried out by the maintenance team.
- To plan and implement a schedule of planned maintenance.
- Assist when required in any risk assessment.
Job Requirements:
- A time served or apprentice trained maintenance fitter who has experience within a team leader/supervisor/managerial position.
- A good knowledge of heavy-duty machinery and how to keep it maintained.
- A good knowledge of health & safety and able to follow company policies and procedures.
