Butler Rose is recruiting for an exciting new Management Accountant job opportunity with our client, a well established public sector organisation based in Plymouth. The role is a 6 month fixed term contract with potential to be extended or move into a permanent role.
Reporting in to the Senior Finance team, your role is a key link between finance and the broader business and is vital to provide accurate information to help make strong business decisions.
Key duties will include:
- Reporting on performance and key KPIs
- Review and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
- Provide insight and work towards making sound financial decisions
- Analysis of operational overheads
- Provide detailed budgeting and forecasting
- Lead on projects and change initiatives to aid cost saving
- Build strong relationships to increase level of reporting
The successful candidate will be in the later stages of studying towards ACCA or CIMA. Candidates must be confident communicators with strong business acumen and enjoy working within a team that is pushing to make improvements.
