Purpose of Role:

The role will support in developing and implementing a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of Emirates Holidays. Having dual reporting into Marketing & E.commerce, the job holder will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all campaign activity initiatives are properly identified, planned, communicated and fully executed as per given timelines.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting for all online/offline media to promote the Emirates Holidays brand. This will include writing SEO focused content for both GB and IE EKH websites, as well as Product related content.
  • Updating and maintaining content in line with corporate branding guidelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments, including CCMB, contact centre, media, product and the airline teams, to ensure alignment of marketing/e-commerce efforts to meet overall business objectives.
  • Assist in the briefing and execution of online/offline marketing activities that will include the building and deployment of email marketing newsletters (eDMs) on a weekly basis.
  • Brief campaigns to CCMB and on Salesforce for regional markets. Additionally, utilize analytics tools (MicroStrategy, Google Analytics) to track and analyze marketing performance metrics for all activities (campaigns, eDMs etc.), providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks related to marketing/e-commerce operations such as providing clear briefs for asset creation, handling enquiries related to PnL budgeted recharges, invoicing, contracting, and managing campaign proofs on the tracker.
  • Support the E-commerce manager by liaising with the product and marketing teams to source offers and promotions.
  • Monitoring the performance of the websites and reporting issues to relevant departments (IT/Product/Systems) to support business processes and enhance efficiencies for higher productivity.
  • Support in the preparation of annual marketing plans, as well as individual annual and ad hoc plans for partners based on owned and paid media.

Skills/Knowledge/Requirements

  • Previous experience in an e-commerce and marketing environment
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience in digital content creation and copywriting is mandatory.
  • Experience using a CMS to administer website content.
  • Strong organizing & planning skills with attention to details and quality
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud & MicroStrategy is desirable.

Qualifications /Experience

  • Degree in Marketing / E.commerce or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3years experience in a marketing/e.commerce or digital role
