Audit Senior, Sutton (£40,000 to £50,000)
Join a successful and progressive firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sutton as their Audit and Accounts Senior and enjoy a key role in the experienced Audit and Accounts team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in an independent firm of accountants, supervising staff and working with good-sized clients, all without the extensive travel required for on-site audits. Hybrid working is available.
The Role
This is a key position within the firm, providing close partner contact and the opportunity to develop broader skills. You will:
- Work closely with a portfolio of clients, including OMBs, companies that are part of larger groups, charitable organizations, and LLPs, assisting in the production of year-end accounts.
- Conduct audits from the planning stage through to completion for partner review.
- Supervise the team.
Location
The Audit Senior role is based in Sutton and is commutable from Epsom, Sutton, Wimbledon, Cobham, Esher, Croydon, Guildford, Surbiton, and surrounding areas.
Skills and Experience
- ACA or ACCA Qualified with relevant post-qualification experience, or newly qualified with previous management experience.
- Strong audit skills.
- Experience working in an accounting practice is essential. Applications are welcome from those wishing to return to practice following a role in commerce.
- Candidates should have a reasonable commute to Sutton.
Salary and Benefits
- £40,000 to £50,000 plus a generous benefits package (Salary banding is offered as a guideline by Fletcher George).
