We are currently working alongside a very successful SME business in Nelson who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to work within their busy finance department.
The business is well established in its field and has a solid reputation within the sector, they have recently seen an influx of work, and with a strong order book they now require an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join them in this newly created role.
Duties as Assistant Management Accountant will include: -
- Prepare the weekly supplier statement reconciliations ready for review.
- Fully responsible for the processing of all purchase ledger invoices, resolving all queries as they arise.
- Manage the weekly payroll process and subsequent calculations ready for review.
- Collate all the starters and leavers information and documentations.
- Fully responsible for the overhead invoices and liaising with budget holders where necessary.
- Manage the cashflow forecast and daily bank payments, in line with the credit facility.
- Manage all the credit card and expenses across the business monthly.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly accounts alongside the Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will have a good background within a finance function, preferably within an SME business, and you will be confident in reconciliations and query resolution across all aspects of transactional management, including payroll and expenses. The client will look to support someone who wishes to invest time in studying the AAT qualification if they require, but this is a lovely company and team to be a part of.
