Field Service IT Engineer

My client, one of the largest independent IT service & support companies in the UK, is looking for a IT Field engineer.
Role Overview:
A hard-working individual with a can do attitude, responsible for the completion of hardware break fix service calls, generic support requests and deployments for a wide variety of customers to manufacturer recommended standards using a multiplatform of products.
You'll be part of a dedicated team of field engineers providing functional excellence and support as designated. Along with assisting at sites on tasks including but not exclusive to, building, preparing, installing, and configuring IT infrastructure when requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge to investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of hardware problems.
- Assemble, configure, and install all hardware platforms.
- Perform builds, installations, configuring and setups to various forms of IT and infrastructure
- Installing, testing and terminating of network cables
- Attend technical training and certification programs as required.
- Play a key role as part of an on-call out of hours rota
- Support MFD devices covering all aligned printer manufacturers.
- Use change control process for installations, moves, additions and changes.
Skill Profile
Essential Skills
- Demonstrate a proven working knowledge of printers, laptops, servers, routers and switches
- Experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting
- Demonstrate previous experience in troubleshooting and installing network access points.
- An adaptable and flexible approach to work and travel is essential.
- Current clean British driving licence

Salary £27.5K pa + company car or £4800.00 pa car allowance and fully expensed fuel card.
