About the Role:

The Extreme Network Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the sales team and customers to deliver tailored solutions that meet business needs.

The rapidly evolving IT and cyber security sector offers great opportunities for business and individual development alike. Navigating the transforming sector requires expertise – and this is where you and your skills come in.

We need a product specialist with experience of selling Extreme product solutions. You'll support the account managers, acting as the subject matter expert, supporting their clients to help everyone understand their business needs in this area. You will be a key support to the sales process.

Key responsibilities

  • Partnering with sales and customers to identify business challenges and evaluate existing network infrastructure.
  • Conducting assessments of client networks and documenting recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinating with third parties regarding current network architecture when necessary.
  • Creating detailed scoping documents to guide the pre-sales technical discovery phase.
  • Developing high-level proposals outlining migration to Extreme solutions, including costings and delivery plans.
  • Assisting the sales team in presenting proposals to clients, especially in complex deals requiring pre-sale support.
  • Meeting monthly gross profit targets linked to the sales generated by the supported salespeople.
  • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss potential pipelines and customer activities.
  • Staying updated on the latest technological advancements through ongoing certifications and training.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

What's On Offer:

  • The role offers a competitive base salary of up to £70,000, with additional benefits including a car allowance and uncapped commission.
  • The company supports a hybrid working model, offering flexibility with time split between the office and home.
  • This is a permanent full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, totalling 38.25 hours per week.
  • The base location is flexible, around the Midlands.
