Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90-£100 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Term Time, December start
About the Role:
TimePlan Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role starting at the beginning of December, running for two terms. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and help ensure a positive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson preparation.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning space.
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to contribute to the overall progress of the class.
Ideal Candidate:
- Some classroom experience or experience working with young people is desirable.
- Enthusiastic and committed to supporting students' learning and development.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a busy school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
