About the Role:
Reed Tutors is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity located in the CH66 area, offering a competitive pay rate of £155 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
