The Company

The client are a Fresh Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy. They are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to join the team and bring their expertise to step into a technical lead role. The work is primarily working on new builds refurbishments heavily focused on energy efficiency across educational, residential, industrial and logistics.

What would you be doing?

  • Collaborate closely and help guide members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.
  • Passionate about creative and innovative design.
  • You should have brilliant technical expertise with great leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be a forward planner with the ability to deliver high-standard work to project programmes.
  • Production of calculations, design deliverables, site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison, liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management.

Who are we looking for?

  • Good experience working with software such as AutoCAD, Revit and IES
  • You will need to be degree qualified, with the relevant qualifications.
  • Quality design experience in the building services sector
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications
  • Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery.
  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects.
  • Experience of working in a close-knit team
