Description
- Lead the financial control function for the group
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
- Monitor regulatory changes in the insurance industry and ensure compliance
- Provide strategic financial input to senior management
- Manage and develop the finance team
Profile
A successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Prior experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial control principles
- Strong leadership skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
