Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes - Office Based
Duration: Temporary - 6 months
Rate of Pay: £12.50 p/h
Reports To: Finance Director
Finance Assistant Job Overview:
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, collaborating closely with our finance team, and ensuring that all accounting tasks are completed efficiently with a focus on Purchase Ledger tasks.
Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile closed projects.
- Manage sales invoice reconciliation.
- Record sales invoices in Gross Profit accounts.
- Update purchase ledger records in Gross Profit accounts.
- File purchase ledger documents.
- Provide purchase ledger support as needed.
- Reconcile corporate card and cash expenses.
Finance Assistant Key Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with SAGE, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- A willingness to learn.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or purchase ledger management.
Finance Assistant Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm. 3:30pm finish on a Friday
