Job Title: Deputy Manager - Solo Children's Provision (EBD)
Location: Bloxwich, West Midlands
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Shifts: Combination of office support and long days (flexibility required)

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join their solo provision supporting children/young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bloxwich. This is a unique opportunity to support vulnerable children in a focused, one-on-one environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Supervise and lead a small team, ensuring consistent care and support for the young person.
  • Support the creation and implementation of tailored care plans that address the individual needs of the child.
  • Ensure the home complies with Ofsted regulations and promote a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Take a flexible approach to working hours, supporting a combination of office support and long day shifts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Level 3/4 qualification in Children and Young People (or equivalent), preferably working towards Level 5.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting, particularly in EBD services.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the service and ensure smooth operations.
