As an Employee Relations Enthusiast, you will play a crucial role in supporting colleagues and managers by offering expert advice on employee relations. Drawing on your personal drive and ambition, you will strive to meet set standards and deadlines both as an individual contributor and as part of a team. Your role will involve handling complex grievance, appeal and long-term sickness cases remotely while maintaining excellent communication with multisite internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for advising on employment legislation, policy and best practice. - Offer effective, efficient, responsive and commercial employee relations guidance with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Take responsibility for dispute resolution and long term sickness within a fast-paced environment.
- Utilise strong communication skills via telephone to multisite internal stakeholders.
- Advise on employment legislation, policy and best practice.
- Create case plans for formal hearings and attend complex cases when required.
- Handle complex grievance, appeal and long term sickness cases remotely.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Employee Relations Enthusiast role will bring experience from previous Human Resources roles. You will have an updated knowledge of employment legislation and ideally hold a CIPD or equivalent qualification. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively advise on various matters related to employee relations. You should be confident in your ability to respectfully challenge or be challenged at all levels. Your ability to multitask and work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
- Experience within a Human Resources role is essential.
- Updated knowledge of employment legislation is required.
- CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable.
