First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Inspector in Edinburgh region. You will be working with a global aerospace engineering company
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To rotate to any area within the inspection department that is required.
- Carry out both simple and complex numerical computations involving decimals and fractions.
- Inspection of templates, final dies and part finished dies.
- Inspection of machining operations on various machines.
- Carrying out hot forge inspection of forged components and dies for set ups.
- Carrying out black forge inspection of machined and pre machines aircraft parts.
- Setting up jigs and fixtures for various machine shop operations.
37 hours per week. Three Shifts rotation hours are:
Monday - Thursday
Early Shift 6am to 2.00pm
Back Shift 2pm to 10.00pm
Night Shift 10pm to 6.00am
Friday
Early Shift 6am to 12.20pm
Back Shift 12:20pm to 6.40pm
Night Shift 6:40pm to 1am
Salary (£37,000 Including shift allowance)
