Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? Do you have the drive to support and guide the next generation towards a brighter future? If so, our client is looking for a dedicated Coach (Young People support worker) to join our team on a temporary basis.
- Empower and inspire young individuals to overcome challenges and strive for personal growth
- Create a safe and supportive environment for young people to flourish and develop essential life skills
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to implement tailored strategies for the well-being of young individuals
As a Coach you will:
- Utilize your empathetic nature and strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with young people
- Provide individualized support to address the specific needs of each young person, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential
- Effectively contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programmes and activities to foster personal growth and emotional well-being
- Work collaboratively with external partners to access additional support services and resources for young individuals
- Contribute to the safeguarding and protection of young people, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in a youth support, mentoring, or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of the social and emotional challenges young individuals may face
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritise responsibilities
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Youth Work or equivalent qualification
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Additional training in mental health first aid or similar would be advantageous
