Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? Do you have the drive to support and guide the next generation towards a brighter future? If so, our client is looking for a dedicated Coach (Young People support worker) to join our team on a temporary basis.

  • Empower and inspire young individuals to overcome challenges and strive for personal growth
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for young people to flourish and develop essential life skills
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to implement tailored strategies for the well-being of young individuals

As a Coach you will:

  • Utilize your empathetic nature and strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with young people
  • Provide individualized support to address the specific needs of each young person, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential
  • Effectively contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programmes and activities to foster personal growth and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with external partners to access additional support services and resources for young individuals
  • Contribute to the safeguarding and protection of young people, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working in a youth support, mentoring, or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Understanding of the social and emotional challenges young individuals may face
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritise responsibilities
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Youth Work or equivalent qualification
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Additional training in mental health first aid or similar would be advantageous
