Telesales Team Leader

Reed Recruitment are on the hunt for a highly motivated and results-driven Telesales Team Leader to steer our clients telesales team towards achieving and surpassing sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a knack for communication, a positive outlook, and a fervent passion for customer service. As a Telesales Team Leader, you will be instrumental in propelling the company's sales objectives by guiding your team of 3 to excel in sales performance.

Day to day of the role:

  • Coach and train your team, with training provided to ensure best practices.
  • Conduct call listening and quality assurance to maintain high standards.
  • Drive a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers, converting interest into sales and scheduling installations.
  • Perform follow-up quality assurance calls or employ other measures to ensure service quality.
  • Process all relevant paperwork per sale, such as direct debit mandates, and ensure accurate entry into the CRM system.
  • Stay abreast of product updates, industry trends, competitors' offerings, and customer insights, feeding back to the wider teams to enhance training and/or product offerings.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Engage in call activities for approximately 10-20% of your time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a field sales role.
  • Previous leadership experience within a telesales environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Resilience in the face of rejection.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and other sales tools.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
