Operations Manager Worcester £40,000 per annum

What will the role involve?
- Manage a busy distribution of fragile cargo with a high level of accuracy.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure a high level of performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement best practices for a safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to optimize operations.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and reduce costs.
What will you ideally bring to the role?
- Proven experience in Operations Management and a passion for logistics & operations.
- The ability to bring your team along on a journey of change.
- Strong leadership and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience with working with a new WMS.

- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and related technology.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
