Payroll administrator
Annual Salary: Up to £29,700 plus annual bonus

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team, contributing to the Green Transition and Decarbonisation of society. With over 100 years of history, our company is at the forefront of promoting the Circular Economy in the UK's Metal Industry. This role is crucial to our administration function, offering the opportunity to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process payroll under the guidance of the Senior Administrator, adhering to contract conditions and legal requirements, and maintaining all relevant payroll master files.
- Administer all pension issues related to payroll.
- Prepare and submit year-end payroll returns and P11(d) forms to HMRC.
- Monitor and maintain the Time and Attendance System, including the maintenance of sickness and absence records in liaison with immediate managers and the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Manage all travel arrangements for personnel, including flights, car hire, conference and accommodation bookings, both nationally and internationally.
- Support all visitor administration requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong numeracy skills with experience in processing payroll.
Relevant qualification in Business Administration.
At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude to work.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, capable of working unsupervised and meeting tight deadlines.
