Join this amazing SEN School as a Special Needs Cover Supervisor and make a significant impact in the lives of students with special needs. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join this dynamic team on a permanent basis, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide long term support and supervision for students with special needs in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Ability to manage and support students with varying needs effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education is highly desirable.
