THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
Naturally, the Technical Assistant role has wide ranging responsibilities and duties will include:
Maintain materials and supplier database up to date.
- Request / Conduct materials traceability as per schedule
- Support the supplier approval process. Liaise with SA Manager / Purchasing team and suppliers to ensure all technical information regarding raw materials and packaging is received for approval within requested timeframes.
- Be part of HACCP, VACCP and TACCP team.
- Liaise with other Technical members and support with customer submission forms / finished product specifications / artwork process for new products where appropriate
- Liaise with NPD team and complete relevant technical documentation / activities for any product launches.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We really need someone experienced who can hit the ground running from day 1! This is a fast-paced manufacturing site and ideally we need someone from a food or FMCG business. The Technical Assistant will need to have:
- A degree in Food Science/Food Technology
- Experience in a Technical role from within the food industry.
- Strong IT skills are essential for this role - Microsoft word, excel, power point.
- Experience using Microsoft Navision
- Effective planning and organisation skills
