Description
- The role will largely operate at a 2nd Line level, where you will provide expert technical support to the company's userbase on both a hands-on and remote basis.
- As part of an established team of 4 in the Desktop Support Engineer function, you will troubleshoot issues through to resolution, and escalate to the internal infrastructure team where required.
- You will cover a range of technologies, predominantly Microsoft-based, as well as supporting a wide variety of hardware, including PCs, laptops and mobile devices for approx. 500 users.
- The business have a cloud-first strategy, so you will gain a significant level of exposure to Azure, EntraID and Office365.
- Unlike many roles at this level, a ky benefit with this opportunity is that the company are in-sourcing much of their IT from another provider, so you will gain a unique experience as part of an IT team that is genuinely building something for the future, rather than outsourcing to. 3rd party.

Profile
As the successful candidate for the Desktop Support Engineer role, you will be experienced at a 2nd Line level in the following technologies:
- Windows 10 / 11
- Active Directory - DNS / DHCP
- Office365
- EntraID
- InTune
In addition, you will have excellent hardware support experience of:
- PCs, laptops
- Printers and peripherals
- Mobile devices, both iPhone and Android
Job Offer
- Starting salary of £28,000 - £32,000.
