Product Administrator

We have an exciting new role with a growing company in Redditch for a Product Administrator. This role is to liaise directly with the Supplier and Customer base to ensure that all products meet the required standard in line with their policies and legal requirements. You will be maintaining the day- to day organisation of documents and overall high quality standard of the business ensuring customers quality requirements are met in a timely manner.

Product Administrator key duties include.

  • Ensure the quality of the product meets to the agreed standard.
  • Liaise with each department for quality improvements.
  • Analyse returns data and supply this to the suppliers for product improvements.
  • Liaise with customer and suppliers on quality issues.
  • Assist in product development from concept to delivery where required.
  • Set up standards that the supply base can meet.
  • Product compliance to UK standards.
  • Ensure critical path and critical dates are adhered to.
  • Keep up to date records for test reports, ethical auditing and legal requirements such as UKTR.
  • Review samples and liaise with the supply base where required.
  • Project management and maintenance for customer accounts with Key Account Manager support.
  • Working well with all members of the site team including the Technical, Production and Quality teams; with a priority on clear and proactive communications and a collaborative approach to problem solving.

The successful Product Administrator will

be confident on working within a fast-paced environment and understand the retail sector and supply base. Be confident to work on your own initiative and be a valued part of a team.

Have good communication skills be computer literate in Microsoft as this role requires communication and liaising with the colleagues on all levels on a daily basis.

Be an organised and analytical person with a good eye for detail but be flexible and willing to contribute on all levels.

Strong administrative skills and methodical in the way that you work.
