Manufacturing Group based in Chichester has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to undertake a newly created position with the responsibility of the day-to-day commercial financial management of a newly acquired division, including supporting the divisional Director with strategic business making through the provision of detailed analysis.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

  • Reporting to the Finance Director and divisional Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Preparation of the annual budget including monthly reforecasting and the provision of detailed analysis on any variances;
  • Development of an effective reporting set tailored to the individual business unit including meaningful KPI's to allow detailed and accurate reporting on business performance and integrate them into the existing group reporting set;
  • Act as Finance Business Partner to the non-finance operational stakeholders to support and develop Lean operations within the division;
  • Review existing processes and controls, implementing effective improvements where necessary.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with previous experience of undertaking a similar position within a manufacturing or similar environment;
  • The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, experience of working extensively with non-finance stakeholders and a proven track record of implementing effective reporting and controls.
