Bookkeeper (FTC) | £26,000 - £32,000 | Ulverston | Full-Time or Part-Time Hours Available | 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic business in Ulverston to recruit an experienced finance professional / bookkeeper who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end accounts position on a temporary basis for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to be made permanent thereafter. Note, School hours / part-time hours can be considered.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Resolving supplier/customer queries
- Support with monthly payroll
- Processing application forms
- Inbox management
- Ad-hoc duties
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 1 years' experience within a finance/accounts role
- Sage 50 experience (desired)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices
- Strong IT and MS Excel skills
