Business Development Manager for Onshore Wind and Solar Energy.

Hybrid working system in the North of England (Brand new office facilities).

Salary dependent on experience level: £45,000 - £60,000 plus a car allowance.

Piper Maddox are representing a leading developer of renewable energy to build out their in-house business development capabilities. With over two gigawatts worth of projects in active development - our client have significant growth plans both project, and team-wise.

Following a injection and capital from a well known renewable energy fund, this company have some of the most experienced professionals in the space within their team and have been a major player in the UK renewable energy market for over 20 years. This has created a collaborative and friendly team environment while still striving for results - a great balance!

Your role as a business development manager would surround:

> Identifying suitable renewable energy sites and projects in line with company BD plans.

> A blend of greenfield land/site sourcing - as well as brownfield project origination.

> Negotiate the relevant contracts include project/land acquisition.

> Working alongside the land/development functions in the team to achieve common goals.

> Having a hand in overall business development strategy alongside the department director.

This role would be focusing on this company's English operations but would have a high level of interactivity with this company's Scottish team as well. Travel to prospective sites and active projects will be a large part of this position, driving forward the transition to net-zero!
