Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist classroom leaders in ensuring that a safe and nurturing learning environment is maintained – responding to the individual needs of SEN learners with personalised support. Some students may have severe needs and a level of personal care may be required. These Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant roles are ideal for candidates that are hoping to gain relevant experience in order to pursue carers in fields adjacent to education, SEN and care. You will work with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to ensure that they are able to achieve their academic goals, and to develop their social and emotional skills at the same time.
