Description
Financial Accountant
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Prepare financial management reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Manage and coordinate budget and financial forecasts.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficient understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
- Proficiency in use of accounting software and experience with a software system implementation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
