Ageas Insurance has an exciting opportunity available for an engaging and dynamic candidate to join our Team as Credit Management Technician. If you are a Team Player, with excellent attention to detail, and previous experience working in credit control, we would be delighted to hear from you!

As a Credit Management Technician, you will manage your own accounts, working with Brokers, as well as internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills are essential for the Credit Management Technician opportunity.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Credit Management Technician role:
Maintenance of allocated Retail and Broker Accounts and responsibility for control of associated credit risk.
To investigate discrepancies arising from the prompt & accurate processing of payments, resolving issues efficiently, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required, aiming to minimise aged debt and potential write off, incorporating regular maintenance of allocated ledgers.
To fully investigate items not settled within credit terms, communicating effectively with Brokers and relevant internal departments, affecting adjustments as required; then instigating applicable credit control routines in cases of continued non settlement.
To perform comprehensive Retail Bank account reconciliations for Retail Brands; utilising Aurum software fed by World Pay and CDL. Ensure all unmatched are resolved and cleared within KPIs, investigating and escalating any ongoing issues with Internal stakeholders.
To settle Claims bordereaux as required for Delegated Authority Schemes or raise other appropriate payments to Brokers; ensuring payment value, workings and banking details are correct before forwarding for the appropriate approval.

Here are some of the main skills, knowledge and experience required to be successful in the Credit Management Technician role:
Good Communication skills both written & verbal to facilitate conversations & establish positive working relationships with key stakeholders both Internally & Externally.
A positive and flexible approach to be able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
Ability to input data accurately & efficiently, identifying any errors that may occur & resolve in a timely manner.
Microsoft Office skills are required, intermediate level excel skills are essential to perform various aspects of the role.
An ability to learn & use a variety of software is key to this role. Previous use of utilised systems is beneficial.
