Customer Housing Manager

TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is seeking to appoint a Customer Housing Manager.

Location: Berkshire

Start date: ASAP

Length of Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Pay: Up to £50,000 per annum

Hours of work: 37 per week (usual business hours)

Working from home: 3 days per week

Your duties in this role would be to:

  • Manage a team of 8 staff which comprises of housing specialists
  • Drive the team to reduce cost to the business linked to double handling, repeat callers etc
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver a quality housing management service
  • Oversee a range of queries in relation to tenancies, successions, tenancy changes, fraud, ASB, lettings and income)
  • Ensure that team KPI's are met as well as quality standards
  • Work with colleagues in the Customer Services Management Centre to ensure the correct routing of complex housing queries to relevant teams
  • Build strong internal/external relationships, actively engaging with key stakeholders to ensure queries from tenants are resolved effectively
  • Carry out staff appraisals, assist with training and development of staff

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Access to a car and full UK driver's license
  • Experience with staff management
