About the Role: FRS Recruitment is assisting a well-established firm in Nottingham in their search for a skilled Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to join a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare year-end accounts up to the review stage.
  • Accurately prepare and submit clients' VAT returns.
  • Maintain financial records for limited company clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks as needed.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting as required.
  • Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
