Acoustic Consultant
My client offers acoustic consultancy services for all stages of a construction project in accordance with RIBA guidelines. Their services include strategy reviews, appraisals of architectural drawings, design advice, noise assessments for planning, and UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing. They provide solutions for various infrastructure projects, including rail and highway networks, as well as tall structures such as buildings, masts, and towers.
Requirements:
- Ability to address any technical issues arising during assessments
- Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA status
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects while closely collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
- Previous experience in project planning and report preparation for project applications
Responsibilities:
- Adjust project plans and designs to ensure adherence to client specifications and statutory guidance
- Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all stages of a project's life cycle
- Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could impact project completion and timelines
